                he’s not actually released the design though 🙁

                using a paper cone to play a record is an old trick I saw on kids TV years ago.

                there is actually a pin at the bottom of the cone which acts as a needle – the principle is the same as the original gramophone (complete with high tracking force of 10-15 grams) of course you don’t try this with any tunes you care about..

                    I thought the FM radio with a map of London and the pirate stations was better though..

                    its like a tube map but made out of pencil marks and tunes to the station when the pointer is put on the correct location…

                    (must be using the graphite as a variable resistor feeding control voltage to a varicap diode- now that is clever:)
