June 7, 2006 at 9:43 pm #1078014Hi Limey – That site is more about how home tutoring works but it may have info on groups in your area that you and your family can join so you can meet other similar people.
as far as social networks on the net are concerned – dunno if myspace is “chavvy” but its not really that friendly IMO and run by big companies and people whose business policies I don’t agree with so I don’t use it.
Theres http://www.bebo.com as well for teenagers but its like myspace with “dinner ladies” watching you a bit more closely.
You can always stick around here as well; although there’s a very wide age range on this site TBH a lot of people on here are actually your age or not that much older; others are older people but have children your age so you know you are in a pretty safe environment here.
Its a bit like an outdoor party; where you can encounter people from age 14 to 50+ having fun together. One one of our videos you can even see a rave where people are dancing in front of the speakers and someones mum is there dancing with them!
We do discuss a lot of controversial subjects and talk about stuff like drugs here but its up to you whether you wish to get involved in these discussions.
Then again its better to know about these things than have them hidden. there is a also lot of info on our forum you might be able to use in your studies!
I hope whatever you do on this site you enjoy it and welcome to partyvibe!
June 8, 2006 at 11:55 am #1078017:horay: Maybe you could try talking to your parents about going to local youth clubs, and other freindly organised events, that could also be a real help:horay:
June 8, 2006 at 12:39 pm #1078020hey thanks for the advice etc… will have a look at youth clubs etc.. cheers :surprised
