Fucking excellent kettle, pop tea bag in the cup, push the button and by the time i have gone to the fridge to get the milk i have 1 hot cup of tea waiting….

About the same size as a normal kettle, they do make a little bit of noise as the water comes out the end but thats because its boiling. Everyone who has had a cuppa from it comments how it seems so much hotter….

does it use enough electricty to power a small country tho?

Im not that much of an eco-nazi i just heard that normal kettles use more power than most other appliances…

Don’t have a clue, but it only heats the water you are going to use. Well it powers a pump to get the water out but i cant imagine it being that bad.

if theyre anything like coffeeeee machines dont they only boil small amounts of water at a time as it passes thru some chamber?

Yeah its got one huge long heating element, so the water is boiling and steaming a lot when it comes out the end!

Yeah its got one huge long heating element, so the water is boiling and steaming a lot when it comes out the end!

I dont bloody know Sandles, how long does a cup of tea normally stay hot for? Usually long enough to drink 😛

like its thrown out so hot .. but is it lasting hot, has it been boiled properly to last .. OR does it come out hot but its not sustainable and goes cold rather quickly

emmm…..it’ll hold the heat the same as any other cup of water of the same volume would.

Specific heat capacities and all that pish.
