There’s a good one in your town (Flynstarr). In Ipswich itself Elmy has a good rep (St Helen’s Road), there’s one on Foxhall Road (cycle revolution?) although it seems more geared towards the lycra types…
There’s Action bikes in town but they always seem to be short of stock…

I don’t know where Tesco’s is in Felixstowe (probably more than one anyway) but flynnstarr is presumably well signposted and popular in the town..

and I couldnt decide so may wear them in the same night 😉March 20, 2010 at 9:59 pm #1224043i havent heard of these ‘wig parties’ before, maybe i am getting old.
i think you should cut both the wigs in half, and have a wig thats 2 colours ;), then you can be wearing both wigs!

is that how young people in EA flirt these days (or they probably always done that)?
where did you get the panniers from? were they altura ones (always a good make)
you need mudguards too for a proper “old mans bike” (although it means this “old man” can ride through “mud suffolk” without looking like a muddy bumpkin..) make sure you check all the nuts/bolts this weekend before your epic ride if you check tyre pressures and and adjust the drivetrain if you haven’t done already,
I forgot a rack bolt was working loose and it dropped off somewhere in Mid Suffolk, all the more annoying as the ones on my e-bike are special rust-free bolts (the manufacturers of the bike were are kind enough to send a new set from the workshops which are the other side of London! raaa)

April 3, 2010 at 8:57 pm #1224023the drivetrain is the chain, bottom bracket, derailleur and rear block/cassette (i.e all the things what make the bike move along 😉 )
