did you get a VHS of it?
I wouldn’t have been able to watch it as ITV don’t TX the regional strands across more than one regions like they used to, in fact what you appeared on is only being made to keep Ofcom happy.
You’re lucky as well because AFAIK HTV’s studios didn’t get gutted and downsized like most of the others – in our area regional ITV no longer exists to any extent and they don’t send out camera crews (all freelancers nowadays) unless its a crime report (good news has no commercial market!)

there was a time when the producer would have arranged for you to have had a VHS copy of the finished feature, it was once seen as the done thing and a goodwill gesture for allowing the camera crew into your organisation.
but I guess the cost-cutting is why this didn’t happen – would expect the producer came from what was HTV as Westcountry’s regional dept is long gone and they were only retained for sports because of rugby…
October 1, 2005 at 2:11 pm #1067097My mates dave an suttie got wasted one day an ended up beatboxing and MCing on some E4 new talent show. Was quite funny to see two of my mates tanked on buckfast rapping about underground bitches an ho’s on TV.

OTOH if they were drunk and rapping in Scots wouldn’t surprise me if the programme clearance bods (usually based in London) just couldn’t understand the lyrics and let it through 😀 (my mum told me she had to turn on 888 subtitles to watch Taggart last night!, I only understand Scots (spoken slowly) because I once worked on a crew with two people from Aberdeen)
would be interesting to see this….
October 1, 2005 at 2:59 pm #1067098Its online somewhere….I’ll get the link to it off Dave. They also got asked to write a rap for in between E4 shows. Was pretty cheesey but they haven’t showed it yet as they need parental permission what with Dave only being 15.
