    Phew, I feel much better.

    I am a crap sleeper, I find if difficult to get myself “off” to the land of nod each evening.

    I actually think I could go all night without sleep, but then I’d feel crap at work the next day.

    I think the problem is that I am too busy thinking an daydreaming about stuff all the time that by the time I get to bed I am STILL thinking about stuff that I want to do / am excited about and that stopos me from drifting off.

    Tuesday night saw my up in my bedroom mixing on me decks until 1am (i get up at 7am for work) which wasn’t too bad, but I felt tired all day and seem to keep looking like a Panda with these bags under my eyes.

    THEN, on Wednesday I slept at my grilfriend Nicola’s place and she lives next to a roundabout which seems to have cars perpetually racing round at all times of the day and night which keeps me awake as the sounds come in through the window, so that night I got to sleep probably around 01.30 – 02.00 and felt REALLY shitty at work.

    Got home last night and managed to wind down much earlier than usual (hyper boy you see) and got off to noddy land proba around 11.30 – 12.00.

    TODAY I feel the BOLLOX!

    It’s amazing how lack of sleep can fcuk you up.

    iv had a seriously hard time falling asleep for as long as i cn remember now however curently there is only 1 day a week i need to wake up but when im working or have uni it is a real problem, watched this thing last night about falling asleep, sleep restriction, might give it a shot

    Hi Johnny – I think I have the solution to your problem mate!

    If you took those wire clips out of your eyes and and that contraption off of your head you might be able to close your eyes . . . ๐Ÿ˜‰

    i have loads of problems sleeping too. some things i tried arre:

    only have caffeine in the morning.
    don’t eat within about 4 hours of going to sleep.
    if you haven’t got 5htp, drink milk cos thats got it in too i think.
    exerrrrciiise.
    staying up as long as you can and then going to sleep at a normal time.
    getting up and goin to bed at the same time every day is meant to be really helpful as well.

    worry when you start hallucinating! i hope things get better, insomnia is awful.

    u limit yourself to only being allowed to slee at a certain time, lets say between 2 am and 8 in the morning and regardless of the amount of sleep u get thats all your allowed every day starts making you so tired that u will fall asleep naturally when the time comes around, looked promising but i dunno if ill find the time

    5htp didn’t do shit for me after a while, it did for a start though

    neither did not eating, no caffiene

    routines dont work

    give barbiturates.

    You know what! My girlfriend told me that I should stop snacking late at night, as I am a real late night snack monster, I eat things liek pitta bread and tuna and olives and parma hame tc and then go to bed about 30 min or an hr later.

    So what time would you say I should NOT eat beyond to try and help this issue out?

    i dint eat for after about 6, its meant to help quite a bit actually ๐Ÿ™‚

    and yeah 5htp isn’t like a sleepin tablet but it’s meant to help. and i dint wanna be takin zolpidem or vallies every night! :crazy:

    when I’m stressed sleep is the first thing to go for me,

    and usually its the not sleeping that makes me actually realise I’m stressed!!

    I cant do the routeen or not eating after a certain time as I work shifts and have to eat on the go often or around 10 pm when I’m home

    tried nytol, kalms etc and didnt find em helpful

    I still do the hot milk drink but prob more psychosomatic than anything,

    lettuce is meant to be good to help you sleep ๐Ÿ˜‰

    oh and shagging for guys is always a good idea, It always wakes me up though :laugh_at:

    go to a rave, take loads of e/acid then come home and make yaself stay up (1 more e if necessary) until at least 8pm. I garantee you ll have a wicked night sleep, i always do!!:wink:
