In the end I decided not to go to one of the big raves but a smaller party held to celebrate a couple of crews coming back and building themselves up after rig seizures and also to see someone off who was going abroad…
it wasn’t the biggest party nor the biggest rig… nor were there loads of drugs… more of a mini-rave rather than a big multirigger but it was amazing.
Eveyone was a real friend, people were able to leave vehicles unlocked along the track; you could talk to randoms (although most people knew one another), there was no trouble whatsoever, no locals complained, not even one bobby turned up….
it lasted most of Saturday night by about 4:00 Sunday afternoon voluntarily shut down because most of us had work the next day or kids that needed picking up from babysitters etc.. but even that was OK particularly being able to get enough sleep on Sunday and not be feeling rinsed for the start of the week…..
I can’t say any more on here than that but it was so excellent the way this party went, it was like turning the clock back 6 years to the days of the original outdoor raves…..
what did you all get up to then? sounds like Brighton was also good…
