Well another weekend over,
Well i visited the Coven in Oxford to see Dj Sy & Ellis Dee play old skool sets, was quiet in there but the tunes were banging all night. Was good to dance to some old skool tunes, also there was a lot of old skool ravers there (seemed like they were in their 40’s) raaa.
So the night was different but very enjoyable.
Was a bit gutted this morning though when i bumped into a mate who told me there was a free party on in the next village to mine on sat night! I could have done with somewhere to go after my night in the Coven. ah well always the way
How was all the fellow PV members weekends?
February 19, 2007 at 1:45 pm #1099981starlaugh my weekend was alright friday i went to pub playd bingo and won 50 pounds i had about 9 pints of fosters and went home on saturday i went out to the pub playd bingo and lost about15 pounds but i didnt care i had about 3-4 pints and then went home and on sunday went to pub and playd bingo had 2 pints then went up echo bar to c my mates play there set it was fungle and had about another7-8 pints then went back mats on got up this morning went to a4e then went to tkmaxx 4 work start tommow and there 4 a mounth
so u weekend was good then?

Actually my highlight was feeding my mate a couple of capsules full of mandy in the local pub yesterday at 4PM for him to then annouce he was going home for sunday lunch with his family! :crazy:
Well he survived it and just made an arse of himself.. Gave us all something to laugh at though.
Bingo, cant really laugh about that as i fancy trying it. Only thing is my mates think its an old ladys thing

February 19, 2007 at 11:05 pm #1099969i won’t diss you enjoying it, but the one time i was forced to play it i just didn’t get it. was given a sheet of numbers and when they were read out, i had to cross them off
was like, isn’t there a machine that can do this for me??? so i can go and enjoy myself?

I have no idea! Raving is better than Bingo i swear!

February 20, 2007 at 12:54 am #1099972well friday night i came home expectin to be goin out for a few drinks with a couple of good mates down me local (village pubs when your mate owns ’em are great!). however that didn’t happen as about 8-ish i got a call from one of my mates who lives in the nearest town demandin we got our arses down to this huge house party that was happenin. basically anyone who wasn’t a nobhed was admitted, really good bunch of people, good vibe. bout 60-70 of us were there at it’s peak, they had hooked up strobe lights and weird flashin things that flashed to the bass or summat i dunno. this new glow-stick obsession entered sometime as well. anyway was propa good club-like atmosphere, was amazin part from soundsystem werent very good, had been overlooked. one of the most imporant things in my opinion! still was safe as nite, real good stuff, and a great bunch o people, thankfully the chav-massive never got word of it till the mornin! only annoyin thing was i ran outta cigs at bout 4, was runnin round anyone i knew beggin to crash as many as i could get outta em!
unfortunaly police warned to raid and shut it down at about half 4 so we all had to turn music off and fuck off to the nearest mate’s house. went round me mates converted garage thing, spin-off of about 15-20 of our group of mates from party, had our own little “back-to-mine” rave haha. half 6 got some kip then at half 9 woke up to get bus home. chicken tikka sarnies aint too nice at very early mornin!
saturday nite there wasnt any parties worth goin to, and i work at 9am sunday anyway. so i stayed in with a few beers watchin match of the day. regretted it. borin nites annoy me, i always have the weird feelin that i gotta do everythin as quick as possible, a weekend nite doin nowt always dus me head in!
work all sunday. bit of money for next weekend! sorry for the long description. at 16 i get well excited bout really good nites out :laugh_at:

Only ever go when in one of those £10 holiday thingys, of getting nutted for the weekends for cheap in skegness or somewhere
However not a good idea when munted on a come down and get the fear as they can be an incredible frightening place to be then,
start getting all paranoia about the scarey middle aged women and then realise I’m one of them now…………………………sat doing bingo :you_crazy
