Hi, can anybody give any advice on how to do a good effective promotion for relatively little money? I have a number of comedians and other acts for hire for local events/parties, stag nights, weddings corporate events etc. in Newcastle upon Tyne, however we are working on a tight budget at the moment and I want to make sure the money we have is well spent.

This hasn’t got anything to do with the rave scene as such (which is why I posted in this section), but I figured there might be some guys (and girls!) here with quite a bit of experience of promotion who might know what works and what doesn’t.
