constant banter can put people off posting stuff that they think is important cos they think it will be ridiculed / lost in the flurry

Exactly. Hit the nail on the head there. I’ve been reading pv and sj for the same amount of time, but I’ve only ever been a member of partyvibe for exactly that reason.

why dont you go and have a poke around the forum and try and find something interesting to bring up to date or add to. on sj theres just a constantly changing load of tosh, and as a result a lot of threads are duplicated. here old threads rise and fall, being added to over weeks and months, even years. this site i think is more about quality information, where as squatjuice was more of an up to the minute social beast. i’ll never foget getting a blow by blow account of the 7/7 bombing on sj, its my favorite media moment of all time.have a dig about or search some keywords… just cos it hasnt been posted in the last five minutes, doesnt make it irrelevant.
