He went along to their studio, got a full hearing test and then got them made to exactly his requirements so that he could DJ in them as well as use them in clubs. They were really knowledgeable and helpful when he went and he says the earplugs are mint.

just read the info about those headphones, sound alright, but if all they do is lower the noise levels getting through to your ear does that not just mean that you turn the volume up louder to off-set the effect? cause i reckon thats what id end up doing, which would sort of make them a bit pointless? need to do something tho..

cheers raj, ive been for a hearing test and looks like ive got quite a dip in one ear think its for high frequencies. Seems to have got a bit better after they sucked loads of gunk out of it :yakk:
had a look at this on that website.. “This double CD has been specially designed by RNID to mask the sounds of tinnitus and help you relax. This CD offers a collection of specifically designed sounds such as pulsing white noise, pink noise and cosmic echoes, to help you relax.T602”
unfortunatly thats pretty much what my tinnitus sounds like so not much use i dont think.. had such wierd noises after atomic jam, had diffferent occilating(sp?) tones in each ear sort of phasing between each other, pretty wierd when your trippin :hopeless:
Got to go for a MI scan in a month or so i think to check stuff, not sure im too keen on getting inserted into a giant metal tube.. Hope they dont find anything bad…March 11, 2009 at 4:33 pm #1192480ohh, great I need some of these…
will have a gander, cheers for the links 😉
