      All i want to do is get some sound clips off my DVD’s. I tried downloading some of the ones i want but they are either crap or none existant.

      So i wondered if there was a easy way to do this?

        Are you doing this via a pc?
        It may be easier to do it from a dvd player into the line in on the pc soundcard [assuming the dvd has sound outputs]

          Spot on Raj! I hadnt though of that…. should be simple 😉

          I was thinking along the lines of software….. your idea sounds easyer raaa

            audacity is an ok free software for recording anything that’s being played on your pc

                For macs ..Audio Hijack ..or Audio Hijack Pro
