Did any one attend saturday nite? it was off this planet, the music was banging, base lines that made your frame rattle, every one was dancin and generally havin a gud time.
was a bit shocked when the police and an ambulance turned up, as a friend who cannot handle his pills went missing for two hours. sent bad shivers down my spine. It turns out he was just mashed and had been walkin up and down the hills. :weee:
one lad we went with danced constantly for about 6 hours non stop, it was quite amazing to watch.
well if any1 attended let me no what youz thought.

June 26, 2006 at 11:30 am #1080380The police and the ambulance turned up because one of the many Neds that were there in their “fast cars” rolled it on the way down the hill..
The police are always pretty good with us up there, they only really come up to make sure there is no trouble..
There were a few fights there which i hate it never thankfully involves the “usual” party crowd but consists of rival drunk neds battering each other..
All in all it was a good nite i’d not been up there in ages so it was good to see some familiar faces that i hadn’t seen in far too long..
Unfortunately i ended up with a migrane so didn’t end up Djing as my head felt like it was gonna burst but hopefully i’ll be playing live at the next one instead..
June 26, 2006 at 11:50 am #1080383YEAH IT WAS A CRACKIN NITE ALTHOUGH IT TOOK US 5 HOURS TO FIND THE PLACE AND DIDNT GET THERE TILL ONE, :hopeless: WHICH PUT US OFF SETTING UP CAMP TILL 8 IN THE MORNING. ALL 18 OF US HAD A CRACKING NITE, AND WILL MOST PROBABLY BE RETURNING TO THE NEXT 1 AS WE NO WHERE IT IS NOW.

This was the reason I decided not to attend …. NEDS – thought there might be some in attendance ! I can’t be arsed going to a party with these fuckwits at it ….
Froot really need to find another spot that the local idiots don’t know about – it was so much nicer before the neds started coming to the place ….

I remember the last froot party I had been to before this was after Palgowan 2004 and that was the 1st one I’d been to with a high ned contingent and I felt like I had to keep an eye on all my stuff all nite, records etc it wasn’t nice I was used to being able to leave my stuff behind the decks and it’d be cool..
I think the only reason they haven’t found another location is because the Police don’t bother them up there the only reason they come up is to make sure there is no trouble..
I had fun but I have to admit I did feel that I had to watch myself and make sure I didn’t look at someone the wrong way..June 28, 2006 at 10:00 pm #1080384haha yeah the night was immense, i was with CHEMICAL BROTHER ayye, ayye it was our mate ricky ong who was dancing none stop, total beast of a night!
maybe a new spot would be cool like cus there were a canny rajj’s theres, but all sound !
