is it just me that loses my keys constantly or is it more widespread than i think?:groucho: :groucho: :groucho:

if i dont put them in a specific place i can never remember where i dropped them… i have found them in plastic carrier bags, in the kitchen cupboards, hidden on a bookshelf, in plain sight after looking for them there 5 times already, down the back of the sofa, etc etc:crazy::crazy::crazy:

oh and the last time i lost the house phone i had put it in the tea cupboard..:you_crazy:groucho::you_crazy

at least you can ring a mobile to find it [ as long as its not on silent…]:weee:

anyone else do stuff like this?

Yeah, i’m always losing my keys. It’s most annoying.

Need to get one of those things that were around in the 80’s when you whistled and the keyring would whistle back.

        just found one:

          yep, loads of times…

I also have to carry two bunches of keys around with me for my house and the office..

I actually have a BT issue keyholder marked “UK ADSL Exchange Launch March 2000” which some friends “liberated” from a decommissioned BT building.

Most telephone exchanges are unstaffed nowadays so the engineers need to carry around several bunches of keys to get in there and also into equipment cabinets . its a big piece of shaped metal with a wire loop that attaches to the keyring, and is very useful as an identifier…

Funny enough,I realised last night after someone lost thier keys, that I dont own a single key.I heard somewhere that you can measure a mans status by the ammount of keys he carries,so I wonder what that says about me :groucho::groucho:

We leave the house unlocked,We live miles from anywhere and theres enough wonky windows ect to kind of negate the use of a lock,In fact if the door was locked you could probably just elbow your way in.
Anyone else reading “No I cant give you directions to our house”raaa

Then again Three Bull Terriers Kind of helps with security:weee::weee::weee:

They are! Though I think overall yhey get a lot more bad press than they deserve,I think most “Bad” Dogs are a result of “Bad” owners/training.Despite thier looks We have always found them to be loyal and gentle companions.

true – people buy them merely as a “living burglar alarm” or a fashion accessory instead of treating them as a family member; these dogs are then shut up in unsuitable houses, not trained properly etc and become badly behaved.

Battersea get loads handed in – with one batch of animals they even had to rename the bulk of them as about 10 of the dogs had all been named “Tyson” (you can imagine the confusion this caused)/

Ours are Called Michael,Daisy and Tiny Tim how un-hard is that! I agree with the Battersea thing. We bred a litter a while ago and vetted potential owners so hard that three gave up all together.A good move overall coz we see all the pups from time to time and they all are well looked after and loved.

sorry Raj seem to have turned your key thread to a dog thread I will shut up about them now:wink:

maybe (if you ever ended up with keys to look after) you could train a dog to guard them; know where they are and bring them to you 😉
