June 10, 2008 at 6:42 pm #1174114Cubase is incredibly difficult … i found finding a mate who can physically sit next to you helps …
or i would suggest looking into different software …
i had sx3 and gave up after many many hours of sitting swearing/smoking and scratching my head …
if you carry on with it then hope it pulls off mate! its a super powerful bitta kit … im just too dim to use it :laugh_at:

June 11, 2008 at 6:18 pm #1174115Ebay?
I used to be into the hard house scene and was in contact with a few of the bigger names (maddox, Amber D and spoke to Andy Whitby plus was very good friends with some local talent who have played Glabal gathering) Fl studio is populer!
surely with the wonders of the world wide web you can get somewhere?

FL8 is pretty highly rated, and at the end of the day, you can use the same plugins on fl as you can on some other programs like cubase, and logic as far as i know
reason 3 is what i use and found it the easiest to get to grips with.
its a virtual studio, so you can literally rewire stuff and set it up manually as you would do with real equipment. the sequencer is very flexible.
it is limited compared to the very advanced programs, but an excellent place to start.
and in answer to your question……
http://www.forumw.org you need to sign up but so far ive got fuly working copies of reason, fruityloops, cubase, traktor and abletonlive without ne problems.
