tbh the only person im dying to see is Richie Hawtin, although there are a few top acts there like, seen him once before and im sure anyone whos seen him will agree the ticket cost alone is worth it just to see him …

hmmm Crysal castles are playing on the John Peel stage at Glasto, im not sure what he’d quite make of it.

Their “Alice practice” tune and infact most of the stuff i have heard of theirs has just incorparated sonic the hedgehog sounds or flipping mario and put in kerazy sounding beats.

The thing is with Alice practice it is actually quite catchy then i realised its because i spent a large amount of my childhood and inact life playing Sonic the fucking hedgehog.

ANOTHER thing is Pendulum have done something similar tapped into a genration of comuterzoids, their trademark wooomp warrrm wa wa wammp sound that gets heard even in the most cheesiest of clubs makes girls and boys alike that wouldnt even dream of listening to anything other than will young or r’n’b go crazy…

Crystal castles sound like a dying gameboy fed through a sound destruction unit with a clapped out old drum machine.
Hate this kind of music

And yeh, I agree Pendulum are just catchy beats and they are completely wank. I hate them. I think its just the “Big noise” thing that people like them for. First artist(s) I know of whos main hook is a wide stereo image! (Panning different elements of a track to left/right speakers so a) the frequencies of the different parts of the tune dont overlap on the same speaker and sound muddy and b)So the whole track sounds really big and all-encompassing)
