I’ve recorded a few mixes hoping to put them up for download on the internet(probally on here!).
I recorded them using garageband and exported them to i-tunes this way!
The only problem is it has saved it as an aif??? And the file which is 1 hour and 12 minutes takes up 726.8 mb which is a bloody lot consindering most of the mixes i have downloaded have been around 60 to 100 mb.
i have gone through loads of websites trying to find a free audio converter to try converting it to mp3 to see if it makes the file smaller but have only been able to get hold of programs that will only convert files if they are smaller than 128kb or something. I know there are alot of free programs for PC users but i’m running through a mac which i expect is the main problem.

Can anyone shed any light on any of these subjects?
i mean 726.8 mb that is quite alot now aint it!
