Anyone ever been?? My mates rig are hostin one of the rooms down there in a couple of weeks, wana know whats its like.

July 21, 2007 at 10:28 am #1116590Lakota’s appearance is like having a “legal warehouse party”, its by no means a “bling” club but with good lights/décor can be made to look excellent.
For those of you attending, remember though that it is a licensed venue and you can’t be overly blatant in there (its been known for uniformed cops to walk straight in, which they are perfectly entitled to do under licensing laws!). This happened to a few of the nights in there a couple of years ago and a few unwary people got themselves arrested…

I see, so its a club that isnt anything fancy but can create a vibe. From the way you explained it GL it sounds as if its a bit of a mash up palour.

i went to a hardcore and gabba night there once, i liked the club as a venue, a couple of my mates are used to something cleaner, but i kinda liked the well-raved-in vibe from it, kept finding new rooms i wasnt sure if i’d been in before, good fun when your tripping…
however although the venue, people and lighting were lush, the soundsystem was shocking, speakers felt really quiet and the mic’s cut out, think a lot of it was borrowed from lakota and the oxygen people left some pretty angry posts on dsi about it all, but hope all goes well for your rig, you’ll have a banging night
yeh police are odd round there, im sure i had an experience with cia… but then like i said i wasnt in the fittest states of minds…. haha!

Fair enuff, its this weekend on saturday night should be quite good. Antimatter are hosting the very top room i think.

When we got there the person givin us directions was fucked so we drove around looking for the place for about 15 minutes but that was cool. The Vibe was good anyway and most of the people in there were pretty safe. Also a nice show of girls which always good! The hardcore room seemed to be proper avin it all night so fair play to that crew.
The clubs got a good layout to it but i see what people mean when they say its had its day, lol. There just wasnt enough people to fill it because its so big! (and grimey)
