Are you 65 but feel 25?

Do you feel you can give youngsters a run for their money?

I am looking for fabulous people in their 60+ years that are fun, lively and are embracing their retirement and golden years. In particular mature Ravers, Hippies and Party-Animals. If you are interested or know anyone that would be keen to be involved then please contact me on:

      sarah.kelly@barcroftproductions.com or call 0207 033 1032 ext 313

You hope to find such people here?

I reckon you fancy your luck… I’m not exactly a spring chicken but you’re twenty years too early.

Try advertising on Radio 2, that should reach the right audience (oh wait, you can’t advertise on Radio 2 – I guess these wrinklies are smarter than they smell.)

UK Radio 2 target audience is now our age; they play oldskool dance tracks fairly often in the evening. Radio 3 probably has the oldest or widest age profile; but as I explained to this young woman on .org whilst there are plenty of our parents generation still partying appearing on reality TV doesn’t do their reputation any good and they are parents and grandparents.

Many of these 60+ folk are the ones keeping festivals running and venues with late night opening licenses. There’s loads of them on the hobby electronics / tech communities but they often depend on contract work to supplement their retirement pensions so reputation matters.

I did suggest she tried Saga forum but they are trying to protect their reputation following negative publicity about “saga louts”; and the festival organisers don’t want to be branded as ageing hippies as it makes things difficult for them with licensing .I even know of someone who would have been ideal but she has been very unwell recently and a trip to London as well as all her other treatment (added to the other issues) would be too much for her.

Well, if they don’t lilke being called “ageing hippies” then they shouldn’t have been hippies in the first place.

As for what’s on the radio, I haven’t a clue. I really just cannot be bothered with media attempts at brainwashing. They just make me even angrier… so on 2nd thoughts it’s unlikely I’ll reach 65 as more likely blood pressure will finish me first.
