i cannot wait to go again next summer
August 19, 2007 at 9:27 pm #1118507what are the rules of entry if you have cautions for drugs? I know for the USA you need to get declarations beforehand that you aren’t a junkie but maybe canada is less harsh?
which are the warm bits? (some bits look like they are all mountains and frozen). It doesn’t matter if I end up in the bit where they speak French as I can (just about) still understand what is going on…

okay, i am unsure about the drugs tbh. i’ve never been caught. nor do i plan to be. i’ve been clean for months now, so it’d be pretty hard to be!
are you visiting, or planning on staying a while? because staying a while means getting round the embassy. it’s hard as fuck. basically you only get to stay if they want you. maybe our country should be more like that too. anyway, i was refused twice 🙁as for hot places. their seasons are much like ours. except it’s REALLY hot, or REALLY cold.
everyone associates canada with being cold because only the rocky mountains or niagra falls (in the snow)are shown on tv.
there are some beautiful places. go in the summertime (same time as ours) and it’s bound to be lovely, anyway.
i’ve never been to the west side of canada only the east, ontario and quebec, which have been scorching in the summertime.niagra falls isn’t very nice btw.
incase you were thinking of going.
it’s just a load of old water and it’s really touristy.
the waterfalls we saw in northern ireland a few weeks ago were more amazing than niagra.
probably because they were in the middle of nowhere, natural and untouchedAugust 19, 2007 at 9:44 pm #1139239AnonymousGeneral Lighting wrote:what are the rules of entry if you have cautions for drugs? August 19, 2007 at 10:02 pm #1118510Anonymoustbh niagra falls is the only really overly touristy bit i’ve seen.
other places will be busy, but not horribly touristy, if that makes sence?ottowa is a lovely city.
it’s easy to get to everywhere else from there, travel is cheap. and you won’t get eaten by bears there.or there are many places in the countryside which are pretty spectacular. and bear free.
last time we stayed by a lake in a forest. there were signs for bears. my cousin and i slept in the tent. we were woken by raccoons, but no bears (i admit i thought it was a bear outside the tent, tho)
but i’m sure you won’t get eated by any.
best thing to do about teh drugs thing, is to pop into you local travel agents and ask them. i am sure they should know?
