        i thought that susan boyle thing was really sad. the way everyone thought she was gonna be shit cos shes not pretty and (clearly told to play up to the cameras) a bit crazy.
        i didnt find it very inspiring at all, just made me think on a downer about closed minded people

          I usually dont watch it, (yeh yeh, honest :wink:)

          but saw that one on youtube and completely agree – but people do judge on first impressions and we cant get away from that I’m afraid

          however having post this there was a great sax player and kid singing michael jackson…

          but that is why these programs are popular – mad people making a fool of themselves or some real tallent I guess….

                    The Torygraph is actually championing this as “how TV/media used to be”. which is not at all untrue – in the 1960s there was a woman from Essex about the same build as Susan Boyle called “Mrs Mills” who used to play piano (in the traditional East End/cockney style) and got spotted by a talent scout and had loads of hit albums!
