Don’t eat them whole, it hurts 🙁 never had a painful chilli experience before, thought I was invincible 🙁

The bird’s eye chili is small but packs quite a lot of heat. At one time it was even listed as the hottest chili in the Guinness Book of World Records but other hotter varieties of chili have since been identified (Very Hot (SR: 50,000-100,000))

ever tryed scotch bonnets/lantern chilli’s?

Blow your fucking face off man … the sales rep at the fruit and veg place i used to work at ate one whole and went partialy blind for about 20 mins :laugh_at:

levi roots always uses scotch bonnets in his recipes

i like em… obviously not whole, but cooking with them gives it real nice taste

Love em! Like Daft says the Bhut Jolokia is the hottest pepper at the moment, search in on Youtube there are a couple of funny videos of people trying to eat some.

I got hold of some pure capsaicin the other week and that is FUCKING HOT, I can cope with the heat from it but a couple of friends decided to try it and it knocked them for six. One lad spent the following day in bed with cramps and cold sweats… came with a disclaimer and some safety stuff :weee:

Packet contained

(1) 2.0ml. Sealed Vile containing PURE 16 Million Capsaicin Crystals
(1) Aluminum Water Proof Carrying Vile Case (1.75″ Tall x .5″ Wide)
(1) Pair of Soft Blue Chemical Resistant Nitrile, Laboratory Gloves (Non-Latex)
(1) Pair of plastic Tweezer Forceps individually wrapped and packaged
(1) Surgical Grade Face Mask (Non-Latex), Soft Comfort Fit.
(1) MSDS (material safety data sheet)

I have a video of the above mentioned person eating it which I plan to pop on facebook or youtube :laugh_at:

wow! how the hell do you cope with that! you dont live in some kind of fiery underworld do you? any horns? 😉 those birds eye chillies were fine apart from that fact that it felt like someone was using a lighter on my tongue!
