ive never understood the bad rep that they’ve got. But now i think i understand why. Just so you can get the picture all you have to do is imagine your university rugby team wearing bintang t-shirts acting like cunts.

obviously not all ozzies can be like this, but the 99% ive seen in bali :you_crazy

coincidentally I just made a post about Australia’s collective identity crisis, as its trying to be half a “white/Western” nation and half a “SE Asian” nation and they are becomign quite authoritarian in AU..

most of the weird negative replys i recieve to comments i have left on youtube videos tend to come from australians..
i guess its just like everywhere else, therel be good and bad people from australia. the bad ones just seem to be cropping up more and more these days! Lol

my friend got back from australia recently and had nothing good to say about them, infact he spoke quite badly of them.

they are not very tolerant, and they seem ignorant of each others cultuere. huge socioeconomic class problems between aborigine and non-indigenous races i believe.

Aussies: Dislike being mistaken for Pommies (Brits) when abroad.
Canadians: Are rather indignant about being mistaken for Americans when abroad.
Americans: Encourage being mistaken for Canadians when abroad.
Brits: Can’t possibly be mistaken for anyone else when abroad.

getting mistaken for an aussie is not a good thing, most locals ive met seem to have real problem with them, could be explained by the fact that they make up 90% of the people that travel here…

v.true, my mate i was speaking to today said this. english people abroad in europe have a pretty bad rep too.

British Asians are also viewed as worse than “natives” in SE Asia, we are like chavs and hoodies to them… Last time I went to Malaysia my mum and dad walked straight in whilst me and my sister had to queue up at Immigration whilst some Sikh dude in military style uniform glared disapprovinly at our Western appearance and checked all our papers!
