basically i need money quick soo i’m thinkin of sellin some of my real old kids-stuff my ickle cousins don’t want – i owe my older brother a bit of money and need to scrape some cash for a pile of rust that’ll get me places, my job is ok but doesn’t pay too well!
is e-bay effective, if you have used it to sell?
September 12, 2007 at 5:59 am #1120009Ebays ok if you know what you’re doing, Be careful tho wait until you receive payment on items before you send em out, I’ve been mugged over a couple times on Ebay so just be a little cautious!

September 12, 2007 at 8:27 am #1120006Do market research on what you are selling and see what its going for – that will give you some idea of what might be paid for it.
Decribe it accurately and take a decent picture of it for the listing – this is very important.
also work out what P&P is going to cost so you so you can tell potential buyers and dont end up out of pocket 😉
Finally work out what your listing/payment fees will be and set them aside so as not to end up with a closed account due to non payment of fees [has happened to lots of folks I know]Ebay can be a good place to sell but always check out how the market is at the moment you plan to use it – like any auction house the prices paid can vary wildly over the year.

September 12, 2007 at 8:43 am #1120008Also i have found that doing the £1 start no reserve can work wonders if what your selling is in demand, seems to get some interest and has made a bit of money for me :weee:
