I can understand how the profit margins could increase in Czech Republic, were overheads are low, and in Germany, where some overheads are low… but France??

employers have to pay massiv contributions on top of employees salaries to social security (far higher than in the UK), the maximum working week is 35 hours, and if the company are complaining about unions in this country… they are going to have a shock in France… even well-paid civil servants will strike for such things as plans to discuss their pension conditions in 5 years time!!!
