I went to my first Atomic Jam at the Que club a couple of years ago.
I did have tickets to go and see Peter Kaye but a couple of weeks before the show a flyer caught my eyes….. It was for Atomic Jam on the same night as the show – DJ’s Dave Clarke, DJ Rush with Jason Berkovi live PA….. Of course, I sold my Peter Kaye ticket and got myself down to Atomic Jam…
……….I’d been clubbing/partying for about 5 years both in Europe and in the UK and can honestly say that Atomic Jam at the Que club was by far my best night out…
The vibe, the music, the people, the d’s, everything fitted into place that night……… I remember at 5 o’clock in the morning just as it was starting to get light, I looked across the dance floor from high up on the seets at the back……. the dance floor was still ‘jam’ packed,,, pardon the pun.
I thought to myself (with the hairs standing up on the back of my neck), what a fking amazing night this has been !!!!!!!
Unfortunatly that was my first and last experience of Atomic Jam… but sometimes it’s better not to return to a place and to just savour the memory that was !!!!R.I.P. The Que Club.

fanks 4 your replies guys, I was all ready aware of the freeze the balls off a brass monkey saying, but was interested to know if Brass Monkeys had any magical powers…..???? my g/friend owns a pair of Brass Monkeys and at about 2am on Saturday the little buggers were doing some strange shi*, this was witnessed by everyone in the room. The eyes on both of the monkeys were sparkling really brightly and the light was reflecting all around the room. The eyes normally don’t sparkle, plus the room was quite dark….so as you can imagine this was quite freeky !!! Does anyone know what stone the eyes are made from or where I can find any more info about them? I’ve tried searching on Google for more info but can’t really find anything.
Hallo there, I’ve recently got mates with a guy who used to be a guitarist in a ska band. He also playes bass. I DJ and also run a system. I play just about any kind of music there is apart from garage. We have been talking about getting together to do some live stuff at parties. We’re based in the East Midlands but are very interested.
