That kind of cars is best taken care of by people who knows it(computer and special software needed)…just follow the standard need of service, and you will have no trouble with those cars, a friend who one 8 yrs ago and still not one break down of malfunction, he have followed the standards services…
my sister has a Yaris and yes, they are all computerised. unfortunately it seems that unless you are both a gary boy and computer expert DIY work on modern motor cars isn’t possible any more.
I’d book it in now before the earthquake hits the supply chain of spare parts if any are needed.
I fucking hate it that I can’t work on modern cars because I need diagnostic tools and ridiculous amounts of computer knowledge that isn’t even the same on different versions of the same model.
Oh well, all the more reason for me to have an old van!
