ive been to too many parties with kids present, some are ok i guess, i went to some more lemon jelly style ones in chesire which was basically just a microscopic glade which wouldnt do them any harm physically but i still believe it isnt the right enviroment, wouldnt like to piss anyone off with kids saying that 🙂
dogs are another thing, i swear to god, do they scare the crap out of anyone else when your dancing away and all you can hear of thousands of watts is a bark and the knowledge an invisible dog is walking aboot!
🙂

February 20, 2007 at 6:20 pm in reply to: Hearing damage [split from the ‘going insane’ thread] #1100035i only use one ear to mix, i only have the other headphone (left) on to stop it becoming worse, and to be honest my right ear is becoming a little quite now, i need the volume increased all the time just so i can make the mix then turn it down, i think its just because i always had my music way to loud growing up in headphones and although i knew my left ear was damaged never thought itd effect me anymore … silly mistake!
i use a mos mixer (part of a cheap package but cant afford another)
sony mdr-v500 headphonesto practice at home i only use two pc speakers and a small sub cone for bass
regards 🙂

February 20, 2007 at 5:47 pm in reply to: Hearing damage [split from the ‘going insane’ thread] #1100033good advice, thank you very much chap 🙂
i dont think i could stop djing though 🙁
darn right see you all there :-D!!
£70 is nothing for the line up they have raaa
just make the box for it to go in!
i didnt think this through 🙂
an atari, he’ll be forever yours!
security is the same guys that did glade and glastonbury but ive fence jumped glade twice so dont worry about it 🙂
your only problem is the location unless theres a leak you wont find it (apparently) then again londeners will no where it is, this rave is being built up to be 3 days of musical plesure and their trying to stop the whole fence jumping gig by keeping the location a secret … apparently
best thing to do issss try and get in touch with a box office maybe try efestivals.com and try and speak to someone directly working on the event, try to get a number and say that you need disabled access to the rave, were is it you need to plan travel and maybe theyll wack it out there and then if not (please people dont think im evil for claiming disability to find a location of a rave) your going to have difficulty,
have you seen the flyer?
🙂
ive never been to a bad antiworld party, they used to do a few undeground ones nearish to london, ive been to a load of club venue ones theyve done im thinking of going to the 07.07.07 i read somewhere their aiming to play what glade festival doesnt and specifically aiming at psy/techno etc instead of having a wide range and having dnb there etc, i was at glade 2005/06 and going this year but i am definatly considering the antiworld mainly for xerox 🙂
many smiles
