i am using one (sometimes two) macbook(s) (with ableton + reason on it), several midi-controllers, kaosspad3, korg electribe es-1 and elektron machinedrum-UW.
+ a good mixing console for all the channels.
everything is 100% live.
‘100 % live” means for me :
no arrangments or playlists.
all my show-songs are generated on the fly out of some loops, single-samples and stepsequencer-midi-data and so they are sounding different every time.
and yes… there are too many pre-arrangend laptop-“artists” out there… agree.
