      ive not got a clue! im going to be using it in the van and outside of the van so its gonna be sitting on the ground as well if that makes a difference? want the maximum amount of bass & volume as possible. was thinking about front firing ones, but not sure if thats gonna maximise the BASS!

      the speakers are 1000w rms each. gonna blow me van to pieces if i have it turned up i reckon!:hopeless: mainly want it to have as a mini rig when parked up tho…

        riiiight, folded horn is gunna give you the biggest SPL (volume) and it can go low too. but its a difficult design, and there will be a sound delay. and its expensive.

        A ported reflex cabinet will give you the lowest bass at the cost of some volume. Its cheap and easy to design & build.

        thats the basics.. im sure one of the gurus will have better input

        these aint gunna kick outdoors like a pair of 186 folded horns though obviously yesyes?

          doesnt need to be really really loud just enough for a small group to listen to music fairly loud and be able to feel it.
