Off topic of thread i know but . . . this reminds me of an article I read ages ago on families, I think in India, who earn their living by clearing out septic tanks by hand ( and bucket). Hideous! and bloody dangerous, people keep getting killed, not only from infection but from the gases that accumulate in the tanks, people go down into them and bang they’re dead! It was great leveller for me, nothing i do, or have done will ever be that hard, bit of perspective
As for sniffing gas to get high, why the hell not, if life’s that awful an it gives them a lift, can you blame them? (tho its one i probably won’t try 😉 )
