So far I’ve used 2 different programmes, Audiosauna and audiotool. Neither have proved to be overly great. So now I’m looking for a user friendly and intuitive. The two previous weren’t up to the task of, well, anything.

So if anyone can recommend us some programmes I’d be very much obliged….

You can get Cubase 6 for 30 days off their web site … that shit is off the hook if you are (in the words of Clusterfrog, slightly changed) a “Cubase fanboi”. :laugh_at:

It’s the first version of Cubase I’m actually buying. *ahem

Cubase (or steinberg) bought out the no. 1 hackers of their program. H2O now work on securing Steinberg’s products rather then hacking them. Cubase 6 is like a rock! It’s been over a year and no one has touched the security on it! I’ve tried the “evaluation version” … and it’s “the shit”!

For a user friendly piano roll DAW, FL Studio still takes the cake for me. If you want a tracker DAW check out Renoise, it’s really good but the learning curve will be steeper for you.

Well FL can be ram friendly unless your gonna be using tons of hungry synths. I only have 1gb ram and I can use it no problems. Let me know if you download the trial. I’m sure someone I know can help you with the crack key.

Plus if you get FL we can exchange beats, there are a few of us on here that use FL so we can all help each other out.

My RAM is only 256MB!!!!!!!!! to be fair the laptop is like 6-8 years old lol

but yeah, If/when I do have a look at FL I’ll give you a shout fella 🙂
