Southern California Hip Hop and R&B group FreePeople™ announced the release of their latest single “Light It Up,” featuring the powerful up-and-coming singer Chikk. The track, which boasts to be one of the hottest hits of the summer, is now available through all major digital music outlets, including iTunes, Spotify, Amazon MP3, Google Play and many more.

Released on HustleHard Music & Entertainment Worldwide Records, “Light It Up” features two talented vocalists intertwining rap, hip hop, R&B, pop, and electronic dance music. This follows on the success of their track titled “HustleHard” that was selected by the international magazine Rapper’s Delight for inclusion on their “Fully Loaded” Mixtape Playlist.

The group known as “FreePeople™” was originally formed by four friends in 2010. Their music is best characterized as a blend between hip hop and pop rock, embellished by a unique flare of R&B.
