to be fair most street people would have done the right thing and handed the kid to someone in authority who could get it looked after
worst part of it I was angry but not even shocked when I read about this (I am originally from that part of SE London and I know the areas involved quite well) – it didn’t surprise me at all something like this would happen…
There is definitely a contempt for human life in London these days which is going across all generations, and women often get used as “babymothers” – I suspect its also a way of getting back at the real father of the child, probably because he’s long gone and not supporting his kid..
saddest part of it its literally a victory for the nanny state, when you have people our sort of age group (who should know better) showing they cannot look after the children they brought into this world ….
