Currently fucked out my nut on mephe. Thought i’d start a thread for trance classics.
I’ll start off with these badboys
Sash – Ecuador – YouTube
Sash – Ecuador
Really uplifting, great melody. Really good when on MDMA/Mephedrone
Gouryella – Gouryella – YouTube
Gouryella – Gouryella
A real classic. I loved it when i took 80 fat liberty caps and 2gs of mephedrone. Best experience of my life, so psychadellic and euphoric. Would definately reccomend 🙂
One of my all time favourite pieces of music, so creative and euphoric and psychadellic and <3
binary finary-1998 – YouTube
Binary Finary – 1998
One of the most euphoric thrill rides ever, once again its top notch on mdma etc. Also really euphoric on weed and mushrooms too.
Three Drives – Greece 2000 – YouTube
Another euphoric thrill ride (As trance should be!)
Not the mix i’d normally listen to (I normally listen to the original, without the vocals) but still awesome
Art Of Trance – Madagascar (Ferry Corsten Remix) [HD] – YouTube
Art of Trance – Madagascar
Probably my 2nd favourite trance tune of all time after gouryella.
I’ll post some more in a little while if anyone actually likes this thread.
So trance heads, post some of your own suggestions!November 16, 2012 at 8:07 am #1262458p0lyParticipant
All good tunes there. Trance Euphoria is DEAD though my friend.
These days it’s all Psytrance and Progressive Trance.
Though for 90’s trance euphoria of course being me p0ly the music lover:
i think this is my favourite trance euphoria tune…. so goodNovember 16, 2012 at 8:09 am #1262459p0lyParticipant
But yeah… I could post more and more and more and more… if you want more. just ask.
I DJ all genres as long as they have good songs and will have a bad boy p0ly database of all the classics.

Think this should actually be incorporated into Mezz’s memory lane thread really, as it’s the same thing and there are some trance tunes on there already. Anyways, for what it’s worth, here’s my two cents:
A rare gem:

Euphoric / uplifting trance hasn’t disappeared nor the producers, though the late 90s style is going to be dated due to changes in both technology and society. There is still plenty being made today.
The lower BPM range has merged into progressive house/trance a lot more these days as people who are into it get older and have more responsibilities so they want something they can listen to at home even when not on drugs. Most of progressive trance is simply the same stuff at slower BPMs with more meaningful (and often darker) lyrics, but with a more “European” feel than house. If anything trance in the UK seems to be making a surprising resurgence amongst younger people not all of whom want anything to do with the aggressive, competitive nature of many urban genres and somewhat ironically the wider clampdowns on EDM as a whole from anti-drugs types is pushing what nearly became a commercial genre (in the UK) back underground…November 17, 2012 at 8:59 pm #1262452November 17, 2012 at 9:07 pm #1262453November 17, 2012 at 9:11 pm #1262455
^^^ this last tune is a fucking banger, I heard it on a 40k rig on a bank holliday party, cranked at bout 12pm second day, was tripping my face off and it blew my mind man, it is clearly an LFO synced 1/4 (i thinks) I have tried mimicking it with masive and novation station but it is very hard to get right. Great track.November 17, 2012 at 9:24 pm #1262456
Ok maybe i’m verging on hard trance/hardstyle/hardhouse here but here’s another track that ripped my eardrumms to pieces that day, I love the effect on the vocal too sounds so dirty, and the saw effect…oh my what a track…. insane….January 22, 2013 at 9:31 am #1262466
Haha i’ve just seen this thread again.. i have pretty much all the songs posted, such great tunes, i really do love Trance. Just getting back into it again, it’s like seeing an old friend who was always there and never really went <3
Some Art of Trance.. bit harder and more psychedellic but still so so awesome;
As the comments on this one say it is awesome in the morning, my hi fi is hooked up to my iPod which has this on and i wake up to it some mornings (Nothing beats a thrashing trance beat with heavy euphoria waking you up in the morning, it honestly turned me into a morning person, my favourite time of day now)

Don’t get me started on this tune man, fucking love it to bits. I have heard it incredibly loud while pasted on acid, MDMA and K at a bank holiday free party. UNBELIEVABLY PHAT KICK
