was reading an interview on a TV nostalgia site with some ageing rocker who was a bit wild in his youth.

In the early 70s he was involved in a bit of anti-social drunken behaviour at a posh London restaurant, along with some other rock stars (this was the 70s when such behaviour was more common)… however the behaviour as alarming as it seemed was confined amongst the group of rock stars, and they paid for all the damage caused.

at the time this incident happened I would have been a young boy in primary school, I am now in my thirties…

recently, the same rocker (now in his 50s/60s) went into that restaurant again with his record producer, to talk over a deal of releasing golden oldies. The restaurant itself had changed hands several times and was owned by totally different people….

Within minutes a waiter young enough to be the rock stars son appeared with a sheet of paper, pointed out his name on a piece of paper and politely escorted both the men to the door, whilst warning him “your mates are banned too…” – I would expect some of this rock star friends are far more likely to be taking their meals in retirement homes than trashing restaurants now!
