That said, I happened to be in the former family house of Birkin Haward on Friday (the architect who designed or inspired many buildings of Ipswich including a lot of my estate) and many of the same design elements are in his house as there are in mine…. he was a very left wing man and believed in affordable social housing so its good to see that at least the same quality of materials did go into the estates…
