Where is PLVNE going? Where did PLVNE come from? These are some of the questions that occur to viewers as they watch PLVNE’s new video ‘On My Way’ awestruck by the quality of both the visuals, and the tune. From out of nowhere, this high-calibre collective of musicians have descended on the market with their unique, alternative pop sound. You have never heard a sound quite like PLVNE’s. A combination of rap, alternative rock and pop, the musical geniuses who created this record have merged genres, to take listeners on a musical journey.
The video is just as delightful as the track. The cosy apartment in which the video is set matches the warmth of ‘On My Way’s’ opening riff perfectly. As the track’s bass kicks in, PLVNE’s music mirrors the vivacity and freshness with which the star of the video begins her day. The stuffed polar bear which lies on her bed will almost certainly cause reminiscence over happy memories among viewers. Moreover, the level of skill involved in both the production of PLVNE’s latest work, from the clarity and resolution of the camera used to create the video, to the crystal-clear mastering of the track itself, warrants a celebratory mixtape in itself.
But who are PLVNE? How could a previously unknown band make such exquisite music? The collection of artists who call themselves PLVNE have colossal experience across all spectrums of world music, including production credits for the ground breaking US hip-hop label, Slip ‘N’ Slide, which signed a series of acts who would go on to become global superstars, such as Rick Ross.
The following flight will encounter turbulence due to a ridiculously heavy bassline. Prepare for a journey into the unknown. Prepare to visit a sonic utopia. Prepare to step aboard this PLVNE.
