Off to see Shpongle live.. I may have to get high.. it would be rude not to.

shpongle was actually most dissapointing.. only about 20% of it was actually played live, and that bit was done so badly id rather they just stuck a cd on and danced around a bit. After bigging it up as their ‘special once a year live’ performance it seems like a bit of a con. Shame as their music is incredible, still glad i went just for the party vibe.

Bangface was great fun, as was meeting josh, and the haloween squat party was also wicked

hehe yeah was cool meeting u too … kinda wished i hadn’t of got so mashed as could of enjoyed my self a hell of alot more i think … but we live and learn … or not :laugh_at:

glad shpongle went well ! we couldn’t make the concert but were gonna do the after party – sadly couldn’t get there in the end but it looked massive.

1) it was barely live at all.. lots of miming going on. And the bits that were done live were done badly

2) they played mostly stuff off their new album. When you go and see a band live you want to hear tracks you know, so everyone got thoroughly bored

but it was the new album’s release gig, wasn’t it ?

it was the release gig yes, but that doesnt mean you have to play the ENTIRE album.. most bands play a couple of new ones and all the golden oldies

shame.. but i wasnt expecting it to work as a live act anyway so wasnt so bothered

Shame to hear you didn’t have a good one.

I went last year and was blown away by them untill , we were made to que for about 3.5hours out side the afterparty which was compleatly oversold and rammed to the hilt in the Scala. Cheers Twisted Records you money grabbing fucks!
