This is to all creative artistic people out there who may be interested in getting involved in the Lantern Carnival sheduled for the 1st April. We are making 3D lanterns out of Willow and covered with Tissue paper and will be lit with candles and LED’s. The theme of the carnival is Enchanted Garden so people have been making toadstools and various insects and even a huge Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. yeah its amazing, am doing a community workshop this saturday making the lanterns so will take photos. I also volunteer at another community creative workshop in sheffield called Art in the Park and its amazing how people get so involved.
