yeah they dont call it psytrance for nothing. just closing your eyes and drifting around to it was amazing last weekend. was looking at the most amazing twisting, curving geometric patterns all shifting and flahsing in time with the music. maddest thing ive ever seen. To think ive always kept my eyes open when ive been tripping, the best stuff happens when you close your eyes… quality shit.

I must admit psy is my favourite style of dance music but i agree that there is alot of junk out there. Also i like o mix a bit of psybreaks in with it too keep the beats varied. Check out morphonix for some nice psychedelic breakbeat. I think the thing is with psy it has alot of room to progress and evolve into diffrent kinds, i found out about a style of psy called soumisaundi or something similar and its really really crazy, check out luomuhappo specifically.

Try not to search for artists through youtube, you can only ever find the same stuff xerox, skazi, infected shitstream, eskimo … ill pm you a link Cosmic, have a look on there and see if it helps you find some new material.

other artists to look out for, Random!, Panic, Dooper doopler, Xatrik, Kana, Logic Bomb, Koxbox (most of the stuff before it just became frank), Plasmotek, Saiko pod (old members of koxbox), Bombax, Electrypnose, Delta … theres tons more out there

Youtube aint so good for psy unless you want really crap videophone shots in a festival or videos youve seen a thousand times. try the link and let me no if you need a hand as the site can be confusing.
