Not a conspiracy, just a bunch of sheep following the herd. The Beatles were just another band, I do not know where this massively inflated opinion of them came from. I guess it’s just because Lennon died.
Aside from this, even if they were that good, any other bass player could’ve filled McCartney’s shoes, he was just lucky to be in the right place at the right time.
I’d normally say fair play to him, but when he’s SO fucking big headed and self-absorbed, and sees himself as the best thing since sliced bread despite the obvious shitness of his song writing, combine this with his wrinkled ballbag of a face and his cuntish, prickish thumbs up gestures…you’ve got yourself a MASSIVE cunt on the 4th of July.
