To any and all who party in Leicester:

Are there are any proper parties/raves? I know we’ve got the new O2 Academy but really all they sign are shit people to play most of the time. There’s a HTID-style event coming up at the end of April but other than that is there anywhere to get my rave on?

I know that Sophbeck and its associates put on a lot of stuff, but a lot of that is either dubstep or minimal techno and I can’t stand either!

I know this one is in a bar – but been to alot of their partys in last few years – top crowd and top music, even better when the sun is out and we’re outside :love:

Its a shame because I know that Leicester has quite a big scene for electronic music, its just not music I like.

I’m not very good with genres – to be honest, but know most of the collectives DJ’s play is minimal techno (and I love it!!)

I have two geners; GOOD and BAD…makes it much more simple…stylies is shite and a nazi way of looking at music…good for some bad for other but all should have the respect they deserv3

hense why i dont really know how to catergorise ‘dance’ music as i dont pay much attention raaa

i feel the same way either i like or not. But i go deep in to finding out about music genres exploring sub genres, to find new weird & wonderful artists, some i may not like but thats the game i guess
