thanks! its suprisingly ok today, it landed on 2 huge thick silver bangles which took most of the impact and protected me wrist,

horray for silver jewellery!

my hand much better ta, have got a bit of nerve damage (can use finger but its numb all down one side) as long as i dont bang it or get anything dropped on it (!) all is well
