We’ve touched on this before but lately I feel it needs saying again. Abusive behaviour will not be tolerated on this web site. Freedom of speech isn’t a license to attack the people we disagree with, it’s respecting their right to have an opinion, allowing them to express it, disagreeing with them in a civilised manner or ignoring them if we can’t; it’s a right to be earned and a responsability!

      Our policy:

Abusive behaviour is not allowed, respect your peers! Although we make every effort to keep our community in order the following rules are worth bearing in mind if you ever have a problem with a user’s behavior:

      1. Don’t have anything to do with them.
      2. Keep a record of what happens.
      3. Tell a member of staff!

this abusive behavior is part of the same reason that there are growing ristrictions on the free party sceen … time and time again i have heared people mention about self regulation .. with regards to drugs and behaviour.
it’s all well and good have free speach and freedom to do what you want .. but when what you are doing is wrong then it becomes a diferent thing … you have been given a power to speak freely .. don’t abuse it because the way things are going in this world you don’t know how long you will keep that right for. the whole idea of free speach and freedom to self regulate what you do depends on the people envolved not messing up time and time again by being abusive to other people you are not only going against one of the core values of the rave/free party sceen .. (plur) .. you are allso bring it on top for every one else that follows these ideals as they get tared with the same brush… think b4 you type and ffs be nice to people even if there horible to you .. or you are just as bad as them! …

        plur

          what constitutes as abusive behaviour?

i agree comletely – however sometimes it’s not black and white really…

for example, i posted something that got deleted in one of the religion threads, it wasn’t attacking or abusing anyone however it did contain an antagonistic joke about catholic priests… although it may be considered offensive to some (as could other jokes made across the forum) i wouldn’t call it abusive in particular…

still, i don’t have a problem with that post being deleted as it was slightly rude thing to say in a thread such as that, perhaps.
