Did you sort out that balance sheet? (Col mentioned how to do it some months ago?) like he said it shows to the investors the assets that you have invested in the business….

keep an eye on the archant local media (EDP24 etc) as they often mention stuff about grants…

I have done one although it’s odd that the course didn’t teach me that. Luckily I remember how to do it from business A-Level. I spoke to my advisor who said they don’t normally teach balance sheets so as not to confuse anyone.. :you_crazy

He said he didn’t think I’d necessarily need one because of the low amount of money required and the fact I have £1900 to put in to it already (only need another £1500) and apparently my business plan is good enough to convince the banks. I’m going to add a balance sheet anyway though I think.
