Well, partly I wanted to ask a question “How do people feel about novelty and different things”, and partly I wanted to show an example of doing something that was definitely unusual.
the best experiences are often new ones… i guess i was not following use of words ‘novelty’ and ‘routine.’ if routine is travelling the world and meeting new people each day, then that sounds good… the routine of the rat race, climbing the corporate ladder just to earn slave money and not really experiencing life is less appealing. the novelty of coming out on a pv night and meeting lots of sound people i like very much, but if the following morning i got hit by a car, that would be a less enjoyable novelty… and then ‘boredom’ which i feel is an unwillingness to engage imagination
