I’ve always bought records online from Chemical Records, but they’re becoming increasingly shit – everything I want is either out of stock or not listed.

I suspect this is going to be the case wherever I look nowadays tbh and its no fault of Chemical Records, but due to the decline of vinyl generally (I notice Chemical have recently rebranded themselves as a “music lifestyle store”).

But just in case, does anyone know of a decent online record store where I can buy breakbeat? Otherwise I’ll be forced to drag myself to a record shop in Manchester and like, talk to real people to buy my vinyl.

Cheers man, just ordered some records from them. I’ve looked on there before, I don’t think their breaks selection is as good as Chemical’s used to be (maybe just because of the number of digital-only releases coming out now) but at least the records I wanted were in stock.

I’ve had trouble with these guys in the past sending me warped records and generally arsing me around not giving me refunds. Seem to remember they were a bit expensive too.

                  Unfortunately not.

Not since knowhow records shut up shop and streetwise turned pure digital.

                  :hopeless:

That’s sad to hear about Knowhow, i didn’t realise they had gone under. Not surprised though as breaks really isn’t fashionable at the moment.

Juno records arrived today. Didn’t notice the additional VAT they added to my order (on top of £5/6 per record). And one record is buckled at the edge making it a pain to cue up. Might have to start going to real record shops in future.
