As you’ve probably noticed, we removed the possibility to podcast the mixes on mixupload a while ago.

The reason was the heavy pressure that some companies and institutes from the industry had put on us on the past couple of months, arguing that what we did was wrong.

But, after having taken advices from friends and partner companies as well as doing an introspection on our business, we realised that mixupload was more of relay between you and the artists & their labels (in other words: a real sales intermediate) than a copyright’s thief as ‘some’ tried to make us beleive. Indeed many members of the site wrote us saying that they discovered new artists and tendances thanks to mixupload, and that our beloved platform was not a way to avoid to buy music they like!

Therefore, we decided to put back the podcast button that some of you were desesperately looking for. To us, this aspect of the services we propose is really important, and be aware that we won’t stop here!
