December 13, 2007 at 4:20 pm #1126713LOL its not stupid, its well logical, like the 3 second kettle, boils water in three seconds, but its not as lasting hot as if you boiled a normal kettle!
I make sense! .. I doo!

What! What! What the hell are you jibbering on about woman? did you not do science at school lol 😉
Heat water up, no matter how fast it heats up its going to cool down at the same rate. I really don’t get you, my brain hurts trying to understand you now.
Be quiet for now and pester local secondary school as i am sure they would love to give you a science lesson. Or pop over for a cuppa and i will demonstrate by boiling one cup of water in a normal kettle and one in this new fandangled thinfg and show you 😛

What i know how a kettle works, I will explain it too you 😉
Fill Kettle
Plug the Kettle into a mains socket
Switch it on then electricity travels up the cable into an element, the continuous flow of electricity in the element causes the electrons and neutrons to move at an increasing rate which then creates heat energy the more electricity fed to the element the faster they move.
Hence the temperature rises and boils the water. once the water/element is at a set temperature there is a cut off switch (the switch you turned on is connected to it) and the electricity supply is cut off to the kettle therefore it starts to cool down.

December 14, 2007 at 12:30 pm #1126715I think you should do a scientifical experiment with your kettle and a normal kettle and boil the same amount of water and see if it cools down at the same rate, and then submit a paper to a science journal presenting your findings.
